Bergmann Associates, a leader in Geospatial solutions, has an immediate opening for a talented GIS Developer. This individual will work with our development team to produce high-end GIS solutions.

Essential Duties:

• Responsible for the design, programming, quality control and documentation of spatial and data driven applications using a variety of programming languages and industry standard frameworks – with emphasis on Microsoft .NET (ASP.NET, C#) and ESRI (ArcGIS Server, SDE, ArcObjects) technologies.
• Utilize creativity and innovation in the development of a variety of advanced geospatial products including web, server and desktop architectures.
• Integrate various spatial solutions within enterprise architectures including large RDBMS, web services and other application interfaces.
• Perform on-site installations, as well as train end-users.
• Work within a dynamic team environment.
• Stay current on industry innovations in technology, software and hardware.

Desired Knowledge, Characteristics and Experience:

• Minimum 3+ year hands-on experience developing advanced web and desktop solutions.
• MS/MA desired in related field, from an accredited university.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable GIS and development software, including Microsoft’s .NET, (ASP.NET, C#) ESRI (ArcGIS Server, SDE, ArcObjects), HTML, JavaScript and Microsoft’s server environments.
• Familiarity with basic geospatial concepts such as projections and data accuracy.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Dedication to quality and excellence in all aspects of the position.
