ASSISTANT PROGRAM MANAGER
TRAVEL DEMAND MODELING & GIS

The
Genesee Transportation Council (GTC) currently has an opening for a
qualified
professional with demonstrated experience in travel demand modeling,
geographic
information systems (GIS), and project management. Additional responsibilities
may
include computer network and website administration. Experience
or familiarity with
Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) processes and activities
is highly desirable.
GTC
is the designated MPO for the nine-county Genesee-Finger Lakes
Region including
the Rochester Transportation Management Area. Additional information

Minimum Qualifications:
Assistant Program Manager
1. Bachelor’s degree in planning, geography, engineering,
or a related field and
2. Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in travel demand modeling
and GIS (a Master’s degree may substitute for
one year of the required experience) and
3. High level of proficiency in TransCAD, ArcGIS, and the Microsoft
Office software
suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
The starting salary range is $45,390 to $47,940 dependent on
qualifications.
The position will remain open until filled and, based on the
qualifications of the candidate,
may be filled at the Program Manager level. Review of résumés
