Bergmann Associates, an Esri Business Partner and an award-wining GIS consulting firm, has an opening for a Senior GIS Analyst. This is a full time, salaried position. We are seeking a technical expert in the geospatial field who can apply their broad skills and knowledge to a wide variety of mobile, desktop, 3D and server projects for both private and public sector clients.

Essential Job Duties:

The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing - 

·         Use Esri desktop applications for advanced GIS analysis and data development

·         Install, configure, and support ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, mobile applications, SQL Server/Oracle, and custom GIS solutions

·         GIS database design and management including ArcSDE and industry standard RDBMS

·         Create geoprocessing models using Model Builder

·         Create mobile and web caches and map services

·         Create surface terrains from a variety of elevation datasets

·         Lead technical work on a variety of analytical, data driven projects

·         Regularly interact with clients and perform on-site work as needed

·         Train clients on Esri products and custom GIS solutions

·         Prepare and review technical scopes of work

·         Other duties as assigned

Desired Knowledge, Characteristics and Experience:

·         Bachelors or Masters degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Planning, Engineering or related discipline that includes the study of GIS

·         5+ years professional experience working with GIS technologies

·         Advanced experience with ArcGIS Desktop and extensions (Spatial Analyst, 3D Analyst, Network Analyst, GIS Data ReViewer, etc.),

·         Advanced experience with RDBMS packages (Oracle or SQL Server)

·         Strong database management skills

·         Experience with 3D technologies and data

·         Experience with Python scripting and Esri Model Builder

·         Familiarity with ArcGIS Server and web services

·         Graphic design skills a plus

·         Familiar with standards, best practices and procedures within the geospatial field

·         Strong oral and written communication skills

·         Team-oriented and ability to work independently

·         Highly motivated problem solver and learner

·         GISP Certification a plus
