The Map Contest held during the GIS/SIG Conference will have two categories:  Professional and Student. The winner of the Professional map contest will win a GPS unit.  In its effort to promote education in GIS, GIS/SIG will present the winner of the Student map contest with a $100 Scholarship Award at the end of the Conference.  Entering the Map Contest is easy--simply circle "YES" to the Map Contest on your registration form and bring your map to the conference.  Be sure to vote for your favorite maps at the Conference!
